Do you run any kind of website? Do you have a reasonable level of traffic but are not making much money from it? Are you running Google AdSense on it? If not then let me explain about putting Google AdSense on your website can both enhance your visitors experience and potentially explode your online income. Okay so you may or may not have heard of the AdSense program. Well AdSense is whereby you can display adverts by Google on any website within reason, if one of your visitors then clicks on an advert then you get paid by Google! However the best thing about the adverts is that when you place the advert code on to your website, Google then automatically looks at the content of your website and only displays adverts that are relevant to your site e.g. Contextual advertising. This means if you have a website on knitting patterns only adverts for knitting will be displayed, the same if you run a website on Lawnmower maintenance, only adverts related to Lawnmowers will be displayed. Thus this gives just about any website owner the ability to run AdSense on their website regardless of its content. There are only a few sites that Google prevents you from running it on and these are the usual suspects such as sex, terrorism, drink and drugs etc. (The full list of prohibited content can be found in the AdSense Terms and Conditions which you can read before applying to the program). This means that even a website that is not selling anything such as a forum or other informational website can be monetised. Indeed there are thousands of people out there with websites that are purely informational in content that are making several hundred dollars per day - despite their sites not actually selling anything. Now okay so how does AdSense actually work and put money in your pocket. Well it is not quite as simple as applying and praying they will accept your site. You need a site with good original content not just junk cut and pasted articles. (for more detailed information please read my other article 'Applying for Google AdSense'). You are probably wondering 'If they pay me when someone clicks on an advert on my site, where does the money come from?'. Well it comes from Google AdWords. What are they? Well pretty much every time you search on Google you will see adverts displayed down the right hand side. This is AdWords. The AdWords advertisers pay Google every time someone clicks on their advert, but the AdWords ads get displayed on Googles content network as well in the form of the AdSense ads on your site. However whilst Google gets 100% of the money from a click on an AdWords ad, when and AdSense ad is clicked on your site they give you approximately 50% of the revenue from the advertiser. So you've read the above and your hungry to make a full time living from AdSense, so now visit the link below and take some action today. |
